Lunar Eclipse in Leo

Lunar Eclipse in Leo, Jan 21, 2019, 12:15 a.m.

We have been going through Leo eclipses since February of 2017, and the eclipse Sunday night is the last eclipse of that cycle, and the last eclipse in Leo for a while.

Collectively, these eclipses have been transforming our understanding of how we celebrate and affirm who we are, and how we connect to our individuality. These eclipses have opened up our understanding about our power--specifically, about the fact that our power lies solely with our own choices, and does not extend to being able to make choices for other people.

The last eclipse of a cycle means we are going to have some understanding blossoming of what all these shifts have meant for us. During this eclipse, the Moon in Leo will trine Mars in Aries and Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius, creating a grand fire trine. There’s a lot of power here to transform and purify the area of our lives affected by the eclipse.

The energy that has been building all week may have felt a little overwhelming! But we're heading for the payoff of some stuff we've been working through for two years, which has got to be a good thing.
