Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon in Sagittarius
Monday June 17 at 4:30 a.m. EDT

This full moon brings the achievement of something we set out to achieve--you could call it a piece of enlightenment. We’ve been able to see ourselves in a new light, and we’ve been able to bring ourselves into a kind of wholeness. In some area of our lives, we find we can walk a middle path with balance and wisdom. On one hand, that’s a cause for celebration! On the other hand, we are tired.

Our thoughts haven’t been so friendly to us. There has been some pain in getting here.

So maybe we’re not enthusiastically looking forward to more growth as we enter eclipse season. The good news is that the “more” that is coming is pretty different from what we’ve been going through. Struggle, defeat, exhaustion, and finally, achievement of wisdom--that has been the theme of the end of Gemini season.

Cancer season, on the other hand (which starts with the solstice next Friday!) is bringing themes of love and work, of moving forward with purpose, and of finding our source. Eclipses can make things dramatic, and Cancer season can make things emotional, but we have reason to be optimistic. The work we’ve done has created a container for us.

Lots and lots of love and a happy full moon! Look for Jupiter when you're looking up at the sky at night--it's the really bright "star" you'll see close to the Moon these next few days.
